Emerging from Brisbane, Australia, this distinguished acapella group has won hearts worldwide with their mesmerizing harmonies and soulful interpretations of Jazz & Soul. Led by the talented Benson Tan, the features two other extraordinary vocalists, Robi and Wills. Their seamless harmonies and soulful performances have captivated audiences both locally and internationally. Celebrated for their rich blend of Jazz and Soul, they craft intricate vocal arrangements that resonate with emotional depth and musical finesse.

2. MABEL AIR JAZZ

Get ready for a captivating performance by MABEL AIR JAZZ at this year’s Sepilok Jazz. This talented piano, bass, and vocal trio hails from the Philippines and is known for their passion and exceptional musical talent, eventually forming an ensemble because of the same passion and talent for music that they share.

Percy and Mabel, this dynamic husband and wife duo, studied at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music and brought their mastery of bass and piano to the stage. They have a rich history of performances, including a stint on cruises from 1992-2000, and have been regular performers at the US Embassy in Manila and the Peninsula Manila Hotel since 2011.

While Cherry Garlan Caballero the vocalist, An accomplished vocalist and Vocal Performance major from the University of the Philippines, Cherry is known for her versatility and has been a founding member of the San Miguel Master Chorale. She has also performed as a singing gondolier at the Venetian Macau and continues to shine as a soloist and vocal coach.

The trio has performed at corporate, government, and private events across Europe and Asia, showcasing their broad appeal and exceptional talent.

3. TONAL ALCHEMY BAND

Prepare to be dazzled by Tonal Alchemy, Penang’s jazz sensation known for its electrifying performances and sophisticated sound! This all-star ensemble seamlessly blends classic jazz with a modern twist, delivering a musical experience that’s both captivating and unforgettable.

Leading the charge is the brilliant Wilson Quah on piano, whose exceptional skill drives the band’s dynamic and soulful arrangements. Adding a powerful pulse is Gary Gideon on drums, whose impressive resume includes touring with the legendary Air Supply from 2014 to 2016 across Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. His energetic rhythms and precision elevate the band’s intensity and groove.

Kenny Gabriel on bass anchors the group with deep, resonant tones that perfectly complement the rich harmonies of the ensemble. Meanwhile, Jonathan Yee on alto sax brings expressive melodies and dazzling improvisations, adding a unique and vibrant voice to every performance.

The star of the show is Vivian Adram, whose enchanting vocals transform each song into a magical experience. Known for her ability to convey profound emotion and breathe life into jazz standards, Vivian’s artistry is the heart and soul of Tonal Alchemy.

4. LE’ LUCKY

Le’Lucky was formed in 2022 when a duo family group “Bfore3” Amin Wali & his nephew Feroq Jayfiena came together with a shared love for music & creativity. The spark of the band ignited when Amin Wali (singer, songwriter, composer, actor & TV Host) & Feroq Jayfiena (Reality TV Show Artist from MYStarz LG TV3) released their single album “Ceritera Kita”, discovering their mutual admiration for each other’s vocal styles & abilities. From that moment, the duo began crafting a unique sound that would eventually evolve into what Le’Lucky is today.

 In addition to Amin & Feroq, Le’Lucky feature a talented lineup of musicians who bring their own flair to the band.

• Amin Wali – As one of the main vocalist, Amin brings powerful & soulful voice to the band, captivating the audiences with his emotional delivery.
• Feroq Jayfiena – The other main vocalist, Feroq complements Amin’s style with his distinctive tone & dynamic stage presence.
• CJ – The keyboardist, CJ adds depth and richness to the Le’Lucky’s sound, blending melodic lines and harmonies that elevate the band’s music.
• Bull – On bass guitar, Bull provides foundational grooves that keeps the music moving, infusing it with rhythm and energy.
• Wan – The drummer, Wan drives the band’s sound with his infectious beats and impeccable timing, creating the perfect backdrop for the band’s performances.

Le’Lucky blends elements of funk, pop, jazz, R&B, rock & roll, retro and soul creating a sound that is both fresh and relatable.
